Provides free or low-cost parole hearing representation for people serving life sentences. Offers written consultations to improve chances after a denial. Challenges parole denials and governor reversals in court.
Urban League of San Diego County, Prison Re-entry Program
Matches formerly incarcerated women with employment opportunities. Offers counseling, group classes, and support around housing, substance abuse treatment, and family reunification.
Provides free legal services to low-income individuals on the Central Coast. Services include criminal record expungement, assistance obtaining workers’ compensation, and advice on child custody and visitation matters.
Provides leadership and training opportunities for currently and formerly incarcerated young women and trans youth of all genders.
