Provides direct legal services to low-income non-citizens. Practice areas include immigration appeals, deportation defense, criminal defense, warrant removal, and criminal record expungement.

St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles
Offers case management and social service referrals, including help with housing, employment, education, transportation, food, and personal development. Operates emergency housing for unhoused men in Los Angeles.
Stanford University Three Strikes Project
Represents people serving life sentences under the Three Strikes law for minor crimes. Litigates civil rights cases challenging mandatory minimums and unfair prison conditions.
Provides job training, housing, financial support, and legal services to veterans. Legal services are limited to assistance obtaining Department of Veteran Affairs benefits and military discharge upgrades.
Offers a reentry cohort program for transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex people returning to the community. Publishes resources on incarceration and parole for transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex prisoners.
