Upcoming FDAP Training Opportunities

We at FDAP are pleased announce two upcoming MCLE training events to be held in the next couple weeks. The first, on October 13, will shed light on locating youthful clients held in DJJ and getting records from DJJ. The second, on October 22, will highlight recent noteworthy successes in the Court of Appeal. See the details below and please join us for these events.

Joint PJDC/FDAP Training: Finding Your Young Client

Calling all 602 Attorneys: Ever have trouble locating or contacting your youth at DJJ? Ever have difficulty getting important information or records from DJJ? If so, then this half-hour joint FDAP-Pacific Juvenile Defender Center sponsored presentation by Contra Costa County Deputy Public Defender Joni Spears is for you. Ms. Spears, a post-disposition lawyer who will share her experience and expertise, and provide you with all the materials you need. Open to all trial and appellate defense attorneys.

Quar-WIN-tining: An Overview of Noteworthy Panel Victories During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Litigating during the COVID-19 pandemic has not been easy.
