Join us on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Preservation Park for FDAP’s annual training seminar. See your colleagues in person, hear from great speakers, earn some MCLE credit, and reconnect with the appellate defense community.
The seminar will offer 5.0 hours of MCLE credit, including criminal and dependency breakout sessions, and will feature a moderated discussion with three justices from the First District Court of Appeal: Gordon B. Burns, Carin T. Fujisaki, and Jeremy M. Goldman. For a complete schedule and lineup of speakers, the seminar syllabus is available here.
Preservation Park is a unique collection of historic buildings which are arranged to resemble a late 19th century Oakland neighborhood. Nile Hall is a light, airy space with high ceilings. Coffee and pastries and lunch will be served around the fountain.
Preservation Park is conveniently located a few blocks from 12th Street Oakland BART.
Parking is also available at City Center Garage West, which is around the corner from Preservation Park. Early Bird Special $20 if in before 9:30 a.m.
