It’s time to register for our Zoom webinar this coming Friday, just two days away. In addition, we have updated information on our COVID-19 legal resources for helping our clients. 

FDAP Panel Webinar – Friday April 17 at 10 a.m. –  Appellate Practice in a Pandemic

On Friday, April 17th at 10 a.m., FDAP will hold a 1-hour online Zoom training for FDAP panel members to address issues of concern during the pandemic. Topics will include claims, records, withdrawing from a case, contacting FDAP, using our COVID-19 templates to help your clients, and an “ask us anything” portion.

This training is free and for FDAP panel attorneys only. One hours of MCLE is available. While your mic will be muted during the webinar, attendees will be able to submit questions electronically through the Zoom webinar portal. Evaluation forms and certificates of attendance will be transmitted to attendees after the event.

Updated Resources on FDAP’s Pandemic 2020 page

Be sure to regularly review the FDAP 2020 Pandemic Information and Resources page, which we are continuously updating. This week, we added a template habeas corpus petition for your clients to file pro per petitions in the superior court.

In addition, PJDC has posted updated post-disposition petitions for release of children and “Information For Families With Children Confined in Juvenile Hall or County Camps During the COVID-19 Pandemic” in English and Spanish.”
