[updated Jan. 14, 2016]

FDAP's 2016 annual training seminar will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016, in the conference center at the Courthouse in San Francisco.

The seminar will provide approximately 5 hours of MCLE credit. We will also provide a catered hot lunch and snacks throughout the day.

Topics will include recent legal developments, a proposition 47 update, instructional standards, applying "kids are different" jurisprudence in adult criminal cases, a conversation with Justice Leondra Kruger of the California Supreme Court, and more. Criminal and appellate specialization credit will be available. Exact times and a complete syllabus will be posted soon.

The written seminar materials will be available in both electronic/download and print formats. The electronic materials will be made available for free downloading no less than four days prior to the seminar. Hardcopy versions of the materials are available for $15. (A total fee of $60, instead of $45, is required if you select hardcopy materials when you register.) When registering for the seminar, be sure to select whether you want electronic-only materials or print. If you choose electronic-only, the materials will be available to you for free download approximately four days prior to the seminar. (There is no CD; you will receive an email with a link when the materials are ready to download.) If you choose the hardcopy option, you will receive the printed materials when you arrive at the seminar.

We look forward to seeing you on January 22.
