Controller Has Started to Pay Pending Claims

As explained in a notice from the AOC dated March 5, 2009, the Controller has begun paying panel attorney claims, but claims will not be paid until the Controller has had them for 30 days:

We were notified by the State Controller today that they have started to pay the pending claims of panel attorneys. Since cash flow is still a problem for them, they are adhering to their policy of waiting until they have had the claim in their office for 30 days. 

The AOC is "trying to get more clarification about when they expect to resume paying in a timely manner and will keep [the projects] apprised." FDAP will pass that information on to the panel when it becomes available.
