Internet Access to Court of Appeal Dockets in Juvenile Cases Now Available The online Califonia Court of Appeal docket has been expanded to include juvenile delinquency and dependency cases where the notice of appeal was filed on or after September 2, 2008. To maintain the confidentiality of parties in juvenile cases, the Court is now using the parties’ initials for both first and last names in the case information and caption. The Court of Appeal has requested, but is not requiring, that counsel also use just initials in the captions in juvenile case pleadings. Because briefs will remain confidential, in the body of the brief counsel may continue to use full first name and last initial. |
