FDAP Announces New CYA Resources Section of Website

The brand new FDAP CYA Web page provides resources for juvenile delinquency
practitioners challenging CYA commitments on direct appeal or filing petitions
to modify (Welf. & Inst. Code § 779) in the juvenile court. The new page
includues sample briefs and pleadings, links and citations to relevant published
and unpublished opinions, and substantive articles and outlines. The "Other CYA
Resources" tab includes links to other organziations, CYA reports, relevant
statutes and regulations, and links to CYA's own Web pages.

The CYA Resource Page can be accessed from anywhere on the FDAP Web site by
selecting "CYA Resources" on the "Research Resources" pull down menu.
