SAN FRANCISCO PITCHESS SPECIAL MASTER APPOINTED
August 15, 2003
On August 12th the San Francisco Superior Court appointed
Joshua Weinstein to be the special master to review approximately
3,500 S.F. Pitchess motions filed from December 1997
to January 2003. Mr. Weinstein is currently working at the
Administrative Office of the Courts, and is a highly experienced
trial and appellate criminal defense attorney.
Mr. Weinstein will begin his work immediately, and it is
expected that it will take six months to a year to complete
review of all the cases.
