FDAP Training Seminar - Friday, January 31, 2020

FDAP's 2020 annual training seminar will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, in the conference center at the Courthouse in San Francisco.

  • 8:15 a.m.: registration begins & continental breakfast
  • 9 a.m. to Noon: morning sessions
  • Noon to 1 p.m.: catered lunch
  • 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: afternoon sessions

The seminar will provide 6.0 hours of MCLE credit, including 1.0 hour of ethics credit.

Three First District Justices will join us for a panel discussion at the training: Justice Gabriel P. Sanchez (Div. 1), Justice Ioana Petrou (Div. 3), and Justice Tracie Brown (Div. 4).

Registration fees:

  • $70 for Court of Appeal Panel Attorneys, government attorneys, non-profit attorneys, and attorneys in practice 0-5 years;

  • $35 for law students, and

  • $125 for attorneys in practice more than 5 years.

Criminal and appellate specialization credit will be available. Exact times and a complete syllabus will be posted soon.

The seminar materials will be available in electronic format only . The electronic materials will be made available for downloading no less than one week prior to the seminar, which should allow time for printing if you wish to bring them to the seminar in print format. (There is no CD; you will receive an email with a link when the materials are ready to download.)

Cancellation Policy: Refunds, less a $10 processing fee, will be sent for those cancellations received by 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2020. Cancellations received after that date are not eligible for a refund.
